12/04/2006 For the Second Year running Ewiges Licht continues its unrelenting pursuit of never ending fun and epic glory. It has been quite an adventure since our first anniversary: we finished Nefarian, worked on the war effort, tirelessly killed Green Dragons, fought epic battles against the horde, stormed the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj and slayed an Old God, and now tearing through the wings of Naxxramus. Undoubtedly, it has also been taxing and trying year. We have seen our share of friends, both Alliance and Horde, come and go. We have had our share of droughts where progression stopped for months. Morale and spirits were low, yet through dedication to each other and perseverance, we managed to find the will and strength to move on. To all our friends, our fans and our rivals: Thanks for coming out to play, we hope to see you here with us tomorrow. And to my guild: No leader could have asked for a more loyal following. Thank you for placing your faith in me. Thank you for giving me the privilege and honor of leading the best guild on Crushridge. -Xianghua The celebration continues... Loatheb Down! 09/18/2006 Eat this! After a couple months waiting for new hardware, Ewiges returned to scouting C'Thun yesterday, and finished the task tonight. And the phat loots: Billmade [Gauntlets of Annihilation], Darkmorrigan [Cloak of the Devoured], Yggdrasil [Carapace of the Old God], Ezzlee [Husk of the Old God] and the first [Eye of C'Thun] goes to Aspenn! Squashed! Our second night in Naxxramas and Anub'rekhan goes down despite the Crushridge server cluster fighting back with crushing lag and disconnects. AQ40 Update. For the past month, we've been attempting C'Thun. However, ever since patch 1.11 (which came out right after we got C'Thun to phase 2), Crushridge has been plagued with excessive lag, frequent disconnects (both individual and serverwide) and login issues that require 15-30 minutes to relog. We have been unable to bring in a full raid to C'Thun with many players unable to login and getting disconnected during the course of the raid and forced to endure nearly a half hour of waiting to reenter. For the time being, we will be taking down bosses in Naxx that do not require a full raid or optimal server conditions. However we are by no means done with C'Thun or AQ40. -Xianghua |
